Peanutbutter Protein Bars
The following recipe can be modified to suite you taste. My family loves them! 2 Cups Sugar 1 Tablespoon Vanilla 1 stick of butter 1 Cup peanut butter 1/2 Cup milk 3 Cups Oatmeal (I use the one minute oats) 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup cranrasins 1/2 cup almonds 1 heaping scoop of protein powder (your choice of flavor) In a large bowl combine oatmeal, raisins, cranberries, almonds and protein powder. In a saucepan melt butter and blend in remaining ingredients. Bring ingredients to a full boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Pour contents over your dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into a non-greased 9x12 pan and allow to cool. Cut into squares and you have a great treat.
